In today’s episode of ghum hai, Savi is very happy because she has an important interview with the board of directors. But her friends Ishaan and Yashwant are not ready, so they say no to her application. Savi wants to know why they said no, but Yashwant tells her they have rules to follow. She asks for a chance to take the entrance exam, but they say no and tell her to go away.
Savi really wants to understand why they rejected her, so she insists on getting a written reason for her rejection, or she will take legal action. Yashwant gets angry and warns her not to threaten them. Savi explains that she just wants a fair chance and begs for an opportunity. Some board members support her and believe she deserves another chance.
Finally, a guy named Shantanu comes to help her and offers her an interview at the college the next day at 12 pm, which she happily accepts.
Meanwhile, Harini is facing some family troubles. Her in-laws ask about Savi’s wedding, and she explains that Savi left her wedding because the groom had a drinking problem, and she wanted to continue her studies.
Savi calls her friend Isha to share the good news about getting a chance for the entrance exam. But there are some issues going on in Harini’s family, though her friend Vinu defends them. Harini decides to follow her husband’s instructions to avoid any problems.
In Ishaan’s office, he plans to make the entrance exam very tough for Savi so that she fails. He gets angry and throws Savi’s bag, which causes her to accidentally walk in and fall. Savi was there to take her Bappa idol from his table. Ishaan allows her to take it, but she accidentally spills coffee on his laptop.
Savi promises to buy Ishaan a new laptop once she becomes an IAS officer. She leaves the office and meets Shantanu outside. He asks why she was there, and Savi explains that she came to get her idol. Ishaan comes out and complains about the laptop, teasing Savi and comparing her to Isha.
Savi stands up for herself and defends Isha. Ishaan threatens not to let Savi into their institute during the interview. Shantanu offers to help her with accommodation, but Savi says she will contact her sister’s in-laws in Pune.
Shantanu assures her to call if she needs any help. He asks about Isha, and Savi shares that Isha is doing well and Shantanu is like a mentor to her, just like Isha’s “mam.” Savi reveals that she saw Shantanu’s photo at Isha’s “mam’s” house, and that’s how she knows about their connection.
