Anupamaa Written Update Today (4th August 2023)
In today’s episode of Anupama, there’s a lot of tension in the Shah family. Ankush tells Barkha to stop posting on social media as she approaches Romil. Barkha then asks Robin to leave the house, but he questions her loud and aggressive way of speaking.
Barkha tells Ankush that his illegitimate (Unlawful child status) son is insulting her, which worries Ankush. Romil complains about the noise in the house, but Ankush insists on keeping him there.
Kavya remembers Vanraj telling Barkha not to take responsibility for Ankush’s child. Barkha admits she accepted Ankush’s betrayal but can’t live with Romil in the same house. Anuj advises them to handle the situation calmly.
Barkha suggests that if she can have a boyfriend, Romil staying shouldn’t be a problem. Adhik proposes sending Romil to a hostel, but Ankush asks how Adhik would have felt if he was treated the same way years ago.
Anupama intervenes and asks everyone to stop arguing as Romil is getting affected by the tension. She believes Romil’s behavior is a way to hide his pain. Anuj advises them to take some time to think.
Barkha leaves, and Anuj asks Pakhi to take care of Romil. Anupama worries about Vanraj, Kavya, Barkha, and Romil.
The Shah family discusses Romil’s situation. Some think Barkha shouldn’t accept the child, while others, like Dimple, Samar, and Kinjal, understand Barkha’s perspective. Leela asks Vanraj to explain himself, and he stands by what he said. Leela decides to perform a ritual to ward off evil from Vanraj and Kavya. Vanraj leaves without reacting, leaving Kavya wondering.
Samar and Dimple plan to go to Gurukul early in the morning. Leela taunts Dimple, but Samar supports her. Pakhi, Paritosh, and Samar feel uneasy about something.
Adhik confronts Romil and asks him to leave the house, but Romil suggests talking to Ankush about it. Ankush asks Adhik to calm down, and Barkha asks Ankush to make a decision. Anuj and Anupama express that they have no problem with Romil staying. Finally, Ankush decides to keep Romil until his college gets over, leaving Barkha stunned by the decision.
